چکیده
Objective: Seronegative spondyloarthropathy (SpA) is a destructive disease. Early diagnosis crucial to prevent morbidity. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) the only modality that can show early sacroiliitis. We aimed investigate utility of dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic (DCE-MRI) and diffusion-weighted (DWI) in detection, quantification staging early/acute SpA. also investigated relationship between enhancement properties apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values with laboratory parameters for inflammation such as ESR CRP measurments. Patients Methods: Dynamic contrast-enhanced DWI were performed on 85 patients fulfilled criteria. A positive MRI finding was defined subchondral bone representing active Kinetic analyses performed, calculated, levels measured inflammation. Statistical performed. Results: In acute SpA group; quantity, area level enhancement, ADC Fenh, significantly higher than those chronic high agreement found threshold value 0.831x10 − 3 mm2/s according Assessment SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS) criteria (Kappa=0.794;p<0.001). Conclusion: are advanced MR techniques which enable They hallmarks Their combined use superior one alone

contrast enhanced magnetic resonance imaging in sacroiliitis
conclusion fs t2 w and ce fs t1 w sequences of axial planes were the most useful sequences in determination of active sacroiliitis. therefore, in patients with renal failure or allergy to contrast media, fs t2 wi can be obtained to detect active sacroiliitis. objectives the aim of this retrospective study was to assess the value of different magnetic resonance imaging (mri) sequences in evaluat...

Clinical Significance of Diffusion Weighted Magnetic Resonance Imaging on Treatment Efficacy in MS Patients With Acute Attacks
Background: Despite the existence of various imaging methods, the accurate diagnosis of many neurodegenerative diseases is still controversial. The use of advanced imaging techniques, such as the diffusion weighted imaging can be help the early detection of MS and evaluation of the treatment efficacy in these patients. Materials and method: 24 MS patients with acute attack and thirty healthy s...
